Biography
Don Belcher ~ Trumpet Professional
Unforgettable Brass
I gave my first professional performance in the summer of 1992.  In that same summer, I began teaching marching band along with trumpet sectionals.  I spent a year in Nebraska working as the band and choir substitute for Pender Public Schools and performing with the North East Nebraska Symphonia.  Currently, I teach privately at Herter Music Center in Bay City and out of my home studio.  I am also the brass instructor for the Saginaw Bay Youth Orchestra

While completing my Music Degree at SVSU, I continue to study trumpet performance under Dr. Mark Flegg (Principal Saginaw and Flint Symphonies).  I have also studied under Brian Rood (Kansas City Symphony), Dr. David Bohnert, and Bill Campbell.

I have performed as the Solo Trumpet for the Ms. Ecstasy Orchestra with
Carnival Cruise Lines, and with the Livonia Symphony Orchestra.  As a member
of the Saginaw Eddy Concert Band I have been a featured soloist on multiple
occasions.  I am the band leader of the up-and-coming event band Exit 675 and
a former member of the Saginaw Brass Quintet.
